Crowns
A Crown is a cap that is placed over the affected tooth to amend its shape, size or strength. This restoration may be used to completely cover a tooth either for aesthetic or functional reasons. Patients may require a Crown if they have cracked, broken, decayed or diseased teeth. They may also be implemented to repair the following oral conditions; large fillings; the ageing of teeth; the grinding of teeth; improper bite; poor oral hygiene or after a Root Canal Treatment. Porcelain Crowns are a safe and effective dental restoration.

Bridges
A Bridge is essentially a device anchored to surrounding teeth that is used to replace one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with cemented bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one must be prepared as Crowns to serve as abutments (to hold the Bridge in place). The purpose of Crown and Bridgework is to restore the health and appearance of your smile after tooth loss. This treatment will restore lost teeth, support remaining teeth and help keep our teeth in proper position and proper bite.
